Earlier this year I participated in the Anne Brontë p200 project organised by Lindsey Tyson, Textile Artist. 200 artists were each sent a page from, 'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall', and the brief was to create a piece of work the same size as that page. It could be inspired either by the page itself, or the book, or by any aspect of Anne's life and work. The page itself could also be used, or not. My piece, entitled, My Soul, was inspired by Anne’s ability to find such joy in nature.
Each artwork has now been published in a book entitled, 'Anne Brontë p 200', and is available to pre-order from Lindsey Tyson's website:
