The Water Lily Pond

Inspired by the open curves of the Water Lily, this bloom is formed using individual layers of delicate papers and fibres, including plant fibres, commercial papers, and my handmade papers with inclusions of 19th Century black net and antique lace. 
Mounted inside a handmade glass dome with a wooden base.
